"prices alittle high but they do outstanding work."
"We have used Cool Air for over five years now, and have always had great service. If you're looking for quality service from great people that go well above expectations, this is your place."
"They quoted me for the heating core with removing the dashboard. I said, but you don't have to remove the dash. You can go under the driver side, lifting the steering wheel and pushing my seat back. Rep said they don't like to do it that way. Well, no, thank you. Just because you don't like it that way doesn't mean I'm going to pay you for your inconvenience of removing the dashboard that doesn't need to be removed."
"This used to be my go to AC shop for all of our family vehicles. But service dropped off, Had 3 bad service events. 3 strikes you are out. Have not returned. One event was on my Honda Pilot, looking on YouTube before i took it in. I told them what the problem more than likely was. They had it for the entire day. They couldn't find the problem. I was charged for the troubleshooting time.. I picked it up that evening, the problem immediately started doing the exact same thing, took it back the next day to drop off for the day again. Picked it up that evening and was told the issue was exactly what I told them the previous day when intially dropped it off. They then charged me for another days service charges and the repair. I obviously got a bit disgruntled debating the extra charges given I told them what the issue more than likely was the 1st day. He would not budge on his charge total which really rubbed me the wrong way. Needless to say, I paid the extra charges and left. Third Strike, was for my son's Honda Civic service. AC stopped cooling. Dropped if off for an evaluation, was told the Evaporator had a leak and needed replacement. In checking the system they also determined the compressor had a shaft seal leak and it to needed to be replaced as well. Given the so called bad compressor they also stated the system dryer should be replaced as well due to contamination now, the dryer being integral to the condenser meaning the condenser needed to be replaced. Finally ticket tally replace evaporator, compressor & condenser. That's the entire AC system on the car which was only 3-4yrs old at the time. Approx $3,600 - $4,200 I believe the estimate was for. Fortunately Honda did not have any compressors available at the time. The shop recommended charginh the system just to give the vehicle some cooling for the time being. Recommended to keep recharging as it lost refrigerant until the new compressors were back in stock from Honda. Months passed, still no compressors. Car still cooled fine. Had car in to another shop for fluid replacements. At the time I asked them to also check over the AC to get a 2nd opinion. The checked it out completely and did not find any issue. It's been 2yrs since the last visit to Cool Air and recommendation to replace the entire AC, AC still runs fine. Unfortunately, given my experiences I cannot recommend."
"Back in May, my air conditioner stopped working properly so I returned it to the repair shop that the warranty was under. They replaced it but for several weeks, the cooling of the air conditioner would never stabilize. One week, I left it overnight for them to look at and they couldn't find the problem. The next week I brought it to them after work and showed to them the issue & the GM at that repair shop didn't know what was causing it. My father recommended Cool Air because they fixed his air conditioner issue on his truck. After thoroughly troubleshooting my air conditioner, they had found that the other repair shop had overcharged the compressor & had not properly installed the condenser which cause there to be too much oil in its line. They could confirm nor deny if any damage had been done to either of these parts but I decided to let me replace both because I didn't want to take any chances. When I picked my vehicle up, I asked for any tips on how to manage my air conditioner in the 100+ degree weather we've been having lately & I'm grateful for those tips. The vehicle has been great since the work. I highly recommend coming to Cool Air anytime you have any concerns about the functionality of your air conditioner of your car."
