H-E-B plus! 5000 Gattis School Road, Hutto, TX 78634

"I took my mom to my local Heb to buy some pineapples that were on sale. The pineapples were stacked together with multiple brands. we picked out 9 and proceeded to check out. The cashier rang it up and it came out a different price. We simply told her we didn’t know because there are different brands piled together out front. She was very helpful and help sort out the ones that were on sale and the ones that were not. Mr big boss man named derek walked up to the cashier she explained to him what was going on and he said there was a limit of 4. I told him I didn’t know about the limit and I asked him if the limit was per person? And he said the limit was per day. I’m sorry but that was the dumbest thing I ever heard. I told him if that was the case there needs to be some clear signs and ya need to do a better job organizing . He walked away and we left with 4 pineapples. On the way out I read the small print and it said HEB has the right to limit 4 per transaction. I understand that is hebs right and I respect that. What I don’t appreciate is Mr Derek stepping in to regulate the transaction and when asked a simple question he made things up. If ya shop at this location watch out for the pineapple police. He is regulating that 4 per day pineapple limit. Someone get this man a trophy.shoutout to the cashier she was sweet and understanding. Derek can go kick 4 rocks"

"Way too many people shopping at any given time for the space of the store. If you shop here, expect to deal with horrendous parking, dodge shopping carts , and have no personal space. The only bright spot is that some of the employees have great customer service (emphasis on some). For a better shopping experience, I recommend driving further out to a different location or store all together."

"This is the largest and newest HEB. Parking is always bad. We only go to this location when we are headed in this direction. Love the layout and selection. Again, parking was/is bad. 9/29 I was in and out today. 1/21 visit. Parking is always a disaster here! Almost got smashed by a Tesla trying to zip across."

"TAMALES LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THE TAMALES FROM H‑E‑B at Gattis School Rd! FFIRST OF ALL THEY ARE WRAPPED IN FOIL! HHOLDS ALL THE HEAT IN! Lots of H‑E‑Bs did away with the foil. NOT AT THIS LOCATION. We got chicken because that’s all they had. We usually get pork but the chicken taste just as good as pork just as much flavor as the pork tamales. I bought tamales off the street from people and restaurants and don’t taste good as these from H-E-B all H-E-B‘s. Holidays were hot steaming hot. You can see the steam coming off of them and this is 9 o’clock in the morning.H‑E‑B will never disappoint in my opinion. Especially with the flavor. I am extra happy because they came extra hot this morning. I’ve never been to this location to get tamales makes you want to travel all the way to this location to get some cause you know you’re going to get them hot! ATTENTION ALL H‑E‑B’s PLEASE BRING BACK WRAPPING IN FOIL :) THESE TASTE LIKE YOUR MOM AND GRANDMAS TALAMELS YALL. I’m just a Texican and the spices in these tamales you could taste it cumin, that onion garlic in the meat, and in the masa! I LOVE YOU H‑E‑B! Ty you H‑E‑B kitchen for wrapping it in love."
