"Love finish line and the John helped us immediately and helped us find the shoes we were looking for instantly. However, we were doing an exchange on a pair of shoes we bought the day before and an exchange on two pairs of shoes we got as gifts for our twins during Christmas. Our recipient was past the 45 days for the Christmas shoes and we were told that we would get them for the current price which was perfectly understandable. I made it clear I was doing two separate returns and I would just pay the difference on the shoes from Christmas from the ones we choose. They were looking in the back for another pair of shoes but I was asked if they couldn’t find it would they like me to order it. I explained no I would just take the shoes from yesterday and pay the difference. Next thing you know my cashier.. who I didn’t catch her name (light skinned older lady, with glasses, and grey hair) told me my refund was $5 dollars. I questioned her as I told her I paid 65. She took both my receipts and combined them and used that to pay the difference. When I told her that’s not how we were supposed to do it she said “well the transactions already done”. She said it would’ve been the same thing.. okay fine she works there not me so she “knows best” but that’s not what I said I was going to do. I told her it would’ve been nice to been asked if I wanted to do it where I just put both my receipts together before hand and not just assume. She didn’t acknowledge it once and kept saying “well we didn’t have the shoes you wanted and it’s the same thing”. My point was I was willing to pay the difference of 35 compared to going to another finish line and them have the shoes I wanted or just doing the return and getting back 70$. I called my husband and he came and I explained to him and when talking to him she cuts me off and says “mam the transactions already done is that all”. She needs to do better. I woke with people everyday and I’m very patient and I’ve never been one to be the way I was but the fact that she cut me off talking to my husband, didn’t acknowledge she took my transaction by assumptions, and not once apologized. I didn’t need a sorry but just adknowledging the reason for being upset. Not to add on top when we’re walking to out and to our car another couple with their baby came up real fast behind us and the mom stopped me saying she was doing a purchase next to me when everything was happening and the cashier looked annoyed and came off ignorant. She physically told me she heard me say what I was explaining to her and she saw the frustration on top of me having my twins crying in the background next to me but that o did good and held composed when trying to talk to her and she was in the wrong ."

"I walked in 11 minutes before closing. To return an online purchase. I was stopped by an employee at the door an was told we are closed I asked what time do y'all close he stated 8pm it was 750 by that time, I told him I had an online return he mention again we are close I asked for a manger was told they are busy helping the last customers in the store I again reinstated are y'all close or closing employee stated we are closing but I was not allowed to return my purchase or speak with some one higher then him. Very inconsiderate an un professional. This type of customer service reflects on management. I will not be a returning customer to this location!"
