"I felt screwed over and lied to because the chicken tikka masala has a lot of vegetables and only 3 - 4 tiny pieces of chichen in every portion. Why? Maybe to make it cheaper and gain more cash? The rice comes already pre-mixed with spicy pepper, and I specifically asked for not spicy food. Some tables were dirty and the cashier just sat down watching an Indian version of James Bond playing on TV. Bathroom dirty and stained as well, but the super hero movie is top priority I gues... Nothing personal, just business."

"I hate to do a bad review, but I have no choice other than sharing this. Bought two take-out orders of onion samosas on 10/28/2023 - even though they tasted good but I can't eat a piece of plastic piece that I found while chewing it. Glad I didn't swallow it. Not going here again. I felt very bad standing there for my order to see their bad and dirty kitchen counters; they had opened this restaurant very recently."

"Incredibly slow service. Placed an order online at 7:39pm for Masala Fries. Arrived at the restaurant at 8pm. After being ignored by one of the girls at the front. I asked another one if my order was ready. It wasn’t. Was told it’d be ready in 5 minutes. Well, it was more like 11 minutes. Didn’t get my order until 8:14pm. Also, tried calling the restaurant 3 different times before arriving. No one answered. Good place to go if you have minimum 35 minutes to wait for an appetizer. First time having Masala Fries. I could’ve gone to McDonald’s and sprinkled Masala on those fries and gotten the same quality of food as well as more fries than were provided in my order. Counter style restaurant with full service restaurant prices. Glad it I only spent $6 and not $16+ for low quality food. However, the girl that did help me was very sweet."

"Chowrastha - Indian Eatery was a bit chaotic when I visited on their second day after opening. It was evident that they were experiencing some growing pains as they adjusted to their new location and staff. However, I've enjoyed the food i ordered despite the delay. The fact that they offered me a complimentary lassi for the delay shows that they are aware of their shortcomings and are taking steps to make up for them. This is a positive sign that they are committed to providing a good customer experience. I'm willing to give them another chance once they settle down. As a new establishment, it's natural for them to experience some initial challenges, but with time, they are likely to improve and offer a more seamless experience. Overall, Chowrastha - Indian Eatery has the potential to be a great restaurant once they work out their early kinks. If you're a fan of Indian cuisine, it might be worth checking them out."
