"Attempted to ignore the pretty OK taste of the food. not the best Japanese ever, but that’s OK, it’s fine for for mall food. what happened was when the cook decided to blame me for him making a mistake and giving away our order to somebody else (not checking the order numbers apperently) and then not remaking ours basically accusing us of trying to scam them have a plate for food. All he did was shake his head and be rude and tell me to report it. So here I am the cook with a poofy hair, and red bandana. If owners see this PLEASE consider another employee asap. The older man and what I assume is the manager is fine."

"*edit* 5-4-2021 6:00pm Tried this place again and surprise surprise they are closed early with no signs or warnings. 3 hours this time. Honestly wonder if the owner knows how poorly the employees operate that place. At this point I wish it was possible to give a 0 star rating. Used to be a good place but poor management has ruined the businesses. The last 3 times I came to this location they were closed hours before advertised closing time with no warning or posting hour changes or temporary changes. This location is at Northstar Mall"

"Picked up the chicken and shrimp combo several times to go. Food is delicious and ample servings EVERY time. Food is hot and Fresh. Very surprising to get this good of food in the mall and at this price. This is one of our to go spots"

"It's a Gamble when it comes to eating at this North Star Mall restaurant. I have eatn there on many occasions with a hit or miss but yesterday my wife & I went to have lunch there and that's when I decided I was done taking my chances with this place. We both ordered the #1 teriyaki chicken double meat. None the less they gave me ONE double meet. Chicken was still raw. Other plate had hardly any chicken. Soon as I saw it I pointed it out to the cook and he said I can get a refund. The girl who was the cashier agreed that it looked undercooked but can get a refund. SMH!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!! IF you wanna settle for Japanese just drive to INGRAM MALL location to the SARKU Japanese. Same exact thing but with class & customer service that would be your money's worth."
