"My favorite department store in Austin and well located as an anchor store in the Domain, Nieman Marcus, a Texas brand, was started by Stanley Marcus years ago in Dallas. Well stocked with all of the best brands and even some exclusive collections, the store is vibrant when many other retailers are sagging. The very best part is the staff. They are second to none. You will be greeted when you walk into the store and directed or escorted to the department you are seeking. My clerk even followed up with a call from his store cell phone to advise me that my special order had been delivered then had it steamed and ready for pick up. Treat yourself to a visit."

"I've been in here multiple times since it's open browsing to see if there is anything worth buying. I will say that the numerous times I've come here to look prior to making an actually purchase wasn't the best experience I've had. The selection of items, are not for me, maybe it's because I don't ever have the need for $500 flip flops, or $150 T-Shirts. I do however have a weakness for purses so I tend to gravitate over there. Austin has a limited selection of designer purses or even stores that sell any except for Neiman's and LV outside. The customer service can be a bit or miss depending on who you get. I found Ruth and she had been a love changer. I love her. She is the best! She will give you an honest opinion and doesn't just feel you into something because it costs more. She really cares about her clients and her memory is amazing! She remembers what I have and helps me get something else to add to my collection. She's extremity responsive on her messages and she is the only one what remembers to show me what's new. She always remember what I'm looking for and will send me options that she thinks would work. I love working with her and she completely takes the shopping here to another level. I'm a devoted client to NM just because of Ruth!"
