"I have to agree with several other reviewers regarding their experience with consigning clothes. The owner does not have a good understanding of quality or designers. The store is filled with racks of clothing and shoes that are heavily used and out of style. They turn down designer clothing never worn and with tags still on. They also only offer you 30% whereas you can do better elsewhere! Save your time, there are many other better second hand stores who understand their market, and are more professional. I will never visit this store again.... much better stores to patronize in the Austin area. Reading your response now which makes no sense. First of all my name is Becky, so I'm not sure who you're referencing in your response and it doesn't change my review of your store which sells clothing and styles much older than 2 years old."

"I LOVE this store so much. I’ve gone to every single resale shop in Austin over the years, and Style Encore remains my favorite. Their payout on trade ins is extremely reasonable. Their prices on clothes are excellent. Their selection is amazing - they carry mid-range brands like Free People, clothes from Nord’s and Anthropologie, all the way up to extremely high end like Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Chanel, Burberry etc. Tons of workout gear from Lululemon, Athleta, Outdoor Voices, Gym Shark. Designer jeans galore! Love their shoe selection too. No vintage, which is fine bc Austin has a billion vintage places already. No brands in line with Old Navy either - totally nothing wrong with Old Navy, just want to give you an idea of what their buyers will pass on if you bring clothes to sell. The store is packed with treasures but still organized thoughtfully. They post new clothes on their Instagram multiple times a day (@styleencoreaustin) - definitely go look at it if you’ve never visited and it’ll give you a feel for what they have. They’re also part of the points program that a bunch of places in Austin uses (I think it’s called Five Stars but not totally sure) and I get discounts from having points built up almost every other time I go. Last thing - their employees have always been really kind and accommodating. Another reviewer commented that they had a bad experience there which genuinely shocks me. They’re always really slammed with buys, restocking, social media stuff, dressing rooms, helping ppl find things, checking people out… but they’ll always stop to chat with me and answer questions and they’ve always been really kind over the years. They work really hard to keep the stock fresh and store organized and nice for their customers. Definitely check them out!"

"Older woman working said she'd be willing to look through my clothes but said they won't be taking any. Then I caught her talking about me and my clothes to a coworker laughing. Extremely unprofessional and rude to be talking about customers. It was my first and last time to this store."

"I love bargain hunting here. You can get a Lily Pulitzer smock dress for $20, Lulu Lemon tops for $12, I even got a pair of vintage Dior sunglasses for $80. I don’t care for the trade in values on my old stuff but love the deals on the new to me items!"
