"I wanted to share my recent visit to the Alice and Olivia store. I've had problems there before, and today's experience was the last straw. I tried on a coat that I liked, but a salesperson told me it was already sold and almost snatched it from me. This was confusing because the coat was on a rack with other stuff for sale. It was a misunderstanding, but the way the sales associate handled the situation was very telling of their character. They could have handled it differently by apologizing and standing at a distance as I removed the coat before handing it over, instead of grabing it aggressively from me. This isn't the first time I've had issues. A few years ago, at the SoHo store, I asked a salesperson some questions but didn't find anything I wanted to buy. When I left, the salesperson suddenly got unfriendly and rude, which wasn't cool. I also had a bad time at the Alice and Olivia store near Bryant Park. A salesperson there was really pushy and wouldn't let me leave without buying something. I get that they work on commission, but this felt too much. After what happened today, I wont go back to any Alice and Olivia store. The way the salesperson treated me seemed racist, and that's just not okay. They need to do better with how they train their staff and treat customers."

She knew exactly how to help me fix a problem I was having with a garment (the dry cleaners had lost a strap!), and I am so grateful. "I walked into the store and was presented with a very unenthusiastic and lackluster "Hi" from 2 individuals. I proceeded to take a lap around the store because I was looking for a particular item, and not once was I approached by either of the women to see if I could use some assistance. Moments later a group of wealthy looking white women (I'm a person of color) walked in and immediately received a warm welcoming as well as compliments and assistance. I felt unwelcomed and walked right out. I guess I'll just buy my pants online."

"Best shopping time! While my friend and I were waiting for a table at Aba, we decided to check out the Alice and Olivia shop next door. Right away, Lauren took great care of us; suggesting looks and offering us a glass of sparkling wine. Soon enough, our dressing room was filled with the most unique pieces in the boutique. However, in the midst of our fashion show, our table became available - too soon! Lauren saved the day by putting our favourites on hold, so that we could enjoy our lunch. We came back an hour later and found everything where we had left it. We concluded our fashion frenzy and bought two beautiful outfits! Since then, every time I need something, Lauren does her best to find a solution for me, anytime. Thank you, Lauren "
