"Horrible service. I used Best Buy in Los Angeles before and it was a good service. Now, I bought computer in the Best Buy store in Austin. I asked for the Geek Squad to come to set it up. Paid for the membership. I was told by employee that he scheduled appointment and the rep will come on the certain date. Nobody came, no calls, no new date! Called Best Buy in Bee Cave over 10 times - nobody answered the phone. I went through multiple message “push number ..,” and then the phone call was disconnected!!!! Over 10 times! Tried chat - useless. And the worst thing is that this happened two times ( bought two things on separate dates). Do not buy things from Best Buy from this store- it is a disaster."
"I'll start this by saying we didn't go on the weekend. I hear that it's absolutely crazy busy on the weekend so I'm sure service might not be as good if you go on a weekend. Now having said, the two times we went into the place (on a week day), service was prompt, helpful and friendly. We had a small issue with the delivery of our fridge but that was a third party delivery company, not really best buys fault... They still made an effort to make it right for us which was good of them. Then we had an issue that our fridge died within a month of us buying it, so best buy swapped it for a new fridge. All dealings with them have been professional and really good. Would recommend them for sure .... especially if you can find time during the work week to go:)"
"They usually have what I need and are helpful when they aren't too busy. I don't like how they reduced the Total Tech benefits after I was already a member, such as adding a minimum "co-pay" for repairs (during the two year warranty) and limiting it to two items/claims per year. I buy a lot of stuff there and when they did that, it really reduced the value of that warranty for what I pay yearly to be a member."
"Best Buy used to be the store for electronics. I've found the inventory was missing backups , too many empty shelves. However, the store was very clean and their staff friendly and knowledgeable. Like most retail stores, the Internet has taken alot of business from brick and mortar. I for one am an old timer. I still like to touch and see what I'm going to buy. I still like to store shop ."
"There really isn’t a reason to purchase from Best Buy in Bee Cave. The customer service doesn’t exist. In August we purchased a car stereo. The “free” installation doesn’t include almost $350 in parts to install. If you’re not careful they will charge an additional fee to install the radio anyways. We had to remind the salesperson that the installation was listed as free. Finally, after waiting about a month for the installation appointment, after receiving a text message to call in and confirm the appointment, after speaking to someone at Best Buy to confirm the appointment, we arrived at our appointment time to have them tell us they didn’t have all the parts and we should order the parts, that we had already purchased from Best Buy, on our own. They also tried to lay the blame on us for not knowing they canceled the appointment; you know, after we confirmed it two days earlier. They had no issue reaching out to us to confirm the appointment. Save your money and just buy your electronics from Amazon. It’ll be cheaper and more convenient. It’s not like the staff at the store are helpful. I use to love shopping at Best Buy. It’s sad that there really isn’t anyone that’s helpful anymore."
