"Came in on a Thursday night around 9:45pm on 2/29/24, went through the self-checkout and had 10 items in my cart. Some white guy with long hair insisted I go through a regular lane because some items in my cart were big. However, I wanted to scan them using the scan gun and bag my own items that were smaller. Ended up being asked to go into the regular lane by the employee. Terrible experience. And the employee that bagged my items ended up doing a poor job."
"I use the HEB app to order groceries. The deli and meat dept seem to have the mentality of "cut thick, cut less" even if you specify a slicer seting of 5-7(1/16") they cut the cheese over a 1/4" thick I got 4 slices of cheese in a pound! And when I order sliced pork belly at 1/4" thick it's usually over an inch thick. Very disappointing."

"Having just moved to Texas over a month ago, I was apprehensive about falling in love with a local chain. But the level of product availability, variety, customer service, cleanliness, and overall value has me hooked. This store is a little bit further from me than the one I go to on 620, but the level of service was on point! While it’s no Mariano’s (Chicago based chain) it’s grown on me and is a heck of a lot cheaper!"
"This is a huge H‑E‑B and has everything you will need. Love their selection of pre-made meals since that is what I need. Also, had a big variety of Halloween decorations and candy. Store is clean too and employees have always been nice. They also have gas pumps out front which is really convenient when you are wanting to get it all done at once."
