"AVOID AVOID AVOID THIS STORE. Consistently abysmal service. Take your money literally anywhere else. Where to start?! The time I ordered an "in stock" stove for next day delivery, only to wait all day for it to never arrive, no phone calls, etc Or the time I ordered SIX new appliances that were supposed to arrive in a week that turned into 3 months, with ZERO updates about delays unless I called to ask. I was repeatedly gaslit by employees saying they had called me and given me updates, which was a total lie. Store management has changed a few times and yet the service has only gotten worse over the years. In the last 2 weeks alone: I had a question/issue with "My Lowe's/military" and was passed around the store for 50 minutes to people who could NOT help me before being directed back to where I started to wait for a manager who never came. If I hadn't already spent so much time picking out OVER $500 of items, I would have left. A few days later I gave this store another chance when I came back to spend hundreds more in garden. The garden center gates were locked because there had been rain hours before, but it was still locked despite it, by then, being a nice day. A female employee told me it would be unlocked within 15 minutes, but 30 minutes later it was still locked. I watched at least FIFTY people come into the garden center from inside the store (or walk up to the locked gate and then leave because it was locked) during my 30 minutes there. I eventually left without buying the items I came for, since I wasn't willing to push giant cart loads of soil through the store and parking lot. And I wasn't about to ask the only employee there (a 60+ year old woman) to do it for me. At this point I probably should have given up on this store and taken my business elsewhere, but since I have worked retail, I understand that sometimes there are bad days with short staffing, so I gave the store yet another chance! The next day I called to make sure the garden center gates would be open before driving 25 minutes to come buy the items I tried to buy the previous day. It took 10 minutes on hold to reach someone. Today I called about a truck rental and spent 13 minutes on hold before an employee hung up my call without answering. Prematurely ending phone calls is also a consistent problem at this store. In the future I will warn people to avoid this store at all costs, and I will not buy so much as an outlet cover at this store ever again. Please support your local hardware stores and garden centers, like Ace Cashway, Hill Country Water Gardens, Red Barn, Farmers, etc. You'll pay a bit more, but they actually want your business, they aren't clueless about the products they sell, they answer the phones, and they will provide the service and knowledge you need. AVOID THIS STORE."
"So I went to Lowes and spent $2900.00 on several items and set up to have them delivered. Wow! I recommend not doing that. I have had the worst experience. Only one item out of the three was delivered without damage. Now I'm waiting on them to pick up the damaged items, confirm the damage, and then hope they can ship it to me again without any damage. This process will end up taking over three weeks. Next time I will just borrow a trailer and do it myself. They did add a discount for the inconvenience. That's why I gave two stars."
"Preferred !!!! so much more than Home Depot . I love Lowe’s the people are super helpful very courteous kind will say good morning and good afternoon to you and the Support is there the customer service representatives do the job well and well informed! I worked over-the-counter selling electrical supplies, but I’m familiar with all trades and the only thing that I would to Home Depot for would probably be free tacos if they offered it! Love, Lowe’s"
"If you can manage to chase an employee down that are clearly avoiding customers, then you'll find they don't know anything about their job, who they are, or what they're doing. Been to this lowes countless times and every single employee is the same amount of confused and doesn't know anything about their products or even where the general location of them would be. It just makes me wonder how they haven't fired whoever is hiring???"
"Great deal to get your windows measured for verticals and get them installed. That's what they lead you to believe,,, but it took us almost 3 months to get the verticals installed. YES, 3 months to get the correct measurements, schedule the install only to find that they did not cut them correctly. First time was to long, they forgot about the header at the top, then to short by 2 inches. Then they could not install for weeks. Then different parts were wrong and they had to recut some and wait another couple of weeks to install. We had these at our last house and we got them measured, cut and installed ourselves in 1 week, so using Lowe's was a waste of time and money. Do it yourself or pick a different company to install. This picture is of a valance that was measured wrong, you are right, there's no valance, and they made me wait almost a month to NOT install it."
