"This is a TEN STAR review! Please go see Carlton at Auto Zone if you want personal genuine service. He took amazing care of my 16 year old daughter today, personally putting in her battery and making her feel knowledgable and comfortable with her new battery. THANK YOU Carlton!!!!"
"The older man Bob was the worst employee I’ve ever encountered. I called asking for a rear license plate light assembly and Bob + a woman answered the phone and told me they didn’t have one. I discovered after the call that I didn’t need that, and I only needed a bulb for my rear license plate. I called them back asking if they had it in stock and Bob said they were in stock. I drive down there and he tells me they’re not in stock, and tries telling me I never even called in the first place. Honestly, I think he was just scared to admit he thought I was talking about another bulb, so instead, decided to lie and said I never called, or said that it must’ve been the female employee that answered my second call, or that I called somewhere else. I ask him to direct me to a store that has one, and he refuses. He shows me his computer screen like I haven’t been into autozone a dozen times and know the different screens. He tells me no other stores have what I’m looking for in stock. Both of us frustrated, I leave, call the next closest autozone, and sure enough they have it. I come back to the store later with the product and receipt and confront him. He’s defensive, argumentative, combative, and refuses to apologize, admit to lying, admit to any fault on his end. I’m obviously angry at this point, because I caught him lying to me, and the manager decides to walk away while I’m confronting his employee in front of him instead of intervening. In all fairness, the manager was on a call and I have no idea how important it was. Eventually, Bob just kept telling me bye and waving. He couldn’t care less about his reputation or the reputation of his employer. Needless to say, Bob lacks empathy, lacks integrity, lacks responsibility and the ability to admit fault and own up for his actions. He lacks customer service skills and the ability to self reflect and self improve."
"Horrible customer service! The older man who works there is doing a favor even talking to you. I had a very small parts to buy for my vehicle, and I didn't get no help at all, just a nasty attitude. Seriously?! Is that because I'm a woman or have an accent or he just hate his job?! I will never go back! What a shame!"
"I have mixed opinions about this place because although an older gentleman and a young man took care of me excellently, there was a little lady who made a very ugly and offensive comment towards us Latinos. Her words were "if it were for me I would open this place only for our people" and she made fun of me while what accompanied her laughed. To their surprise my translator is very versatile and translates several things at the same time, and of course I let them know that I had understood her RACIST comment."
