When I was there yesterday, they had one checker to check customers out and do returns while you are standing in the long line of customers wondering if you should put your items down and leave. A few weeks ago, I actually did have to put my stuff down and leave without it because I couldn't wait any longer. Good customer service is as important as the products you offer."

"I didn't know what to expect when I walked through the doors at Ollie's. It was in a shopping center beside the store I went into first. I got done with that store and decided to go in Ollie's and see what it was all about. Inside was lots, and lots, of stuff. And most of it at really great prices. Name brand stuff too. And the variety was crazy. Want to buy some windex, set of tools, peanut butter, a suitcase, dog bed, storm windows, king-sized mattress, patio furniture, armfuls of books, and a thousand other random items? This is the store. I don't know if they normally carry everything they had when I went, or just random stuff they get at a great price to sell. I generally know what big box and department stores carry. They may have new stuff here or there, or a clearance bin or aisle, but it's mostly the same stuff every time. And that's great. They're a reliable source for the things you routinely need. But I love pawn shops and flea markets simply for their random selection. Ollie's reminds me of a good pawn shop or flea market, except everything is still new. Maybe that makes sense to you; maybe not. Either way it's worth a visit to Ollie's to see for yourself. Especially when Christmas shopping. There is something for everyone in this store. Some people are harder to shop for than others. We all have someone we struggle to find a gift for. Just walk around and you'll find something, or some inspiration or idea at least. And that's worth a lot."
