"They wanted to charge me $109 for a Kia Optima side mirror that looked like it had seen better days, but it would have suited my needs. For comparison a new unpainted mirror online costs $67. I had also gotten a quote from a business to replace it before I realized how easy it is to replace myself, and their cost breakdown indicated $115 for parts including a mirror painted to match my car. I was anticipating around $50-60, so when I was told $109, I was pretty surprised. The man I dealt did not seem friendly, but not overtly rude. It was very busy in there, so I imagine there are some good prices on certain things, but for my needs, I can honestly say it was a disappointing experience. I walked out without the part. I gave 3 stars because they did at least have the part and he seemed knowledgeable. Also, I am not knowledgeable in used car part pricing, so for all I know it was a decent price, but I don’t think so based on the comparison to the prices I mentioned above. I would say try the place, but do your homework first to ensure you are getting a fair price."

"My left side mirror needed to be replaced. I originally was going to get another from the dealership. The day I was going in to the dealership to pay for it something told me to check out a used car parts place first. I called Lee's used auto parts. They happened to have the exact mirror I needed for the year, make, model, and color of my current vehicle! They had 1 left in stock. I was so relieved. When I arrived they already had the part at the front desk waiting for me. The price and the quality were great!! It even had a blind spot mirror within it. My original one didn't even have that.The electronic wiring also still wotked. Thank you so much Lee's used auto parts for saving me money and time!! I will definitely be back."

"The only auto salvage/ used parts in Alvin. I have gone here for decades now for everything from bolts to engines. Same guys same service. Just tell him what you need and it will be brought to you shortly after the guy goes and pulls it or he will tell you exactly where to go get it from another auto salvage. He has many many parts on hand already pulled and stocked on the shelves and his prices are reasonable. He will negotiate and i have seen him barter in trade. Good guys!"
