"We celebrated my Mother In Laws 100th birthday with 28 family members on February 17, 2024. The management was very accommodating and the wait staff was excellent. The service was fast and efficient. Everyone in our party had a great time and shared with me how great their food was. A big thanks to all management, servers, cooks, and other staff that made this such a great experience. El Nuevo staff sang happy birthday to my Mother In Law and the other guest applauded her. Thank you so much."

"My family and I really enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant tonight! Our server was Alex and she was absolutely wonderful! She was so attentive to our needs, friendly, and sweet my kids were even making comments about how awesome she was. Eating out as a family isn’t as affordable as it was when I was growing up so exceptional customer service makes all the difference when sharing in family meals. We enjoyed sitting in a cozy booth and had the Super Plato, kids grilled cheese and kids soft taco meal. The chips and salsa were great! My kids loved their meals and I loved my cheese enchiladas, they were exactly what I had been craving. We had the flan for dessert which was a big hit with the kids. I tasted and definitely approve- it was delicious. There’s a cute photo wall to take pics with in the back and the bathrooms were clean and decorated very cute! We will definitely be back and ask for Alex as she was so sweet and took great care of us tonight!"

"As a hispanic I gotta say this place was soooooo good. Homemade tortillas salsa and great michelada. I would definitely come again. My stomach is happy. Server was Aldo and he along with rest of staff was nice and professional."

"The lunch specials were designed to meet every craving. The salsa was slightly spicy and enjoyable. The biggest disappointment was that the cheese and queso are simply velvetta. I just can’t rate it higher than a 3 when I get Velveeta. The refried beans lacked flavor and were watered/thinned out. The chicken enchilada was the best part of the meal, and their home made corn tortilla was the highlight of that. My husband’s charro beans were good. They were spicy and had a smoky flavor. I didn’t eat my tostado. The grease from the ground beef soaked the tortilla and made it inedible. The wait staff was very attentive and always ensured my husband’s tea was full. Quite the accomplishment! Lastly, I really enjoyed the atmosphere and size of the restaurant. I hope this family can be successful and notch up the food a little more. I’ll try it again in the months ahead and see if anything has changed. Maybe try dinner?"

"We decided to try another Mexican restaurant in Georgetown, and this one was ok. It probably won't bubble to the top of our list of favorites, but it'll stay on the list. The food was typical central Texas Tex-Mex. The salsa had a good flavor. Chicken enchiladas and nachos were good. The atmosphere was not ideal. One large open space which I would imagine could get noisy if they were very busy. The service lacked a little. Nobody ever offered to refill our chips and we had to request drink refills and wait forever for those."
