"IF YOU KNOW AND LOVE GOOD FOOD, DONT GO HERE! This place is insane. Posted up in our community where they know what we like, but literally selling bad food, bad customers relations and fake BBQ. Where's the smoke! Not only that the flavor, the quality and presentation is below 1 star for all there food. It's really tasteless, old, off temp crap that cost a lot but you'll not be satisfied with any of it. They have even messed up the BBQ sauce. It's like water now, and how do u mess up the condiments. I mean the onion was dry, the pickles had more juice the pickles. I remember when that was free for all until COVID but now I really think it's hurts there pockets and they pre-packaged them and barely give you any... no matter how much food you buy. BTW we got beef baked potato and rib plate w Mac and greens. What a disgusting joke. Hard dried out ribs, dry scorched potato, mac with fake cheese and greens taste like can and old bread, watered down bbq sauce. For two seniors to pay $35 dollars for trash is not acceptable. This restaurant has never been consistent. It's horrible food and doesn't represent our culture or what TEXAS is known by... darn good BBQ. And to top it off they don't care to help that true customer who has a bad experience. The management is awful, especially the so called mrg/owner this cat don't give a damn... rude as he'll and they don't take responsibility for nothing. You can literally tell them theres a roach on the floor, and they will literally call you a lie. It appears they won't get right and I sure hate to see them go, but oh well you have to do right by the people. BTW there was a guy mgr they pulled from Beef n Buns. Anyone who know the neighborhood, knows who I'm talking about. When they first opened he was head hancho.. I was happy to see him there and they were off to a good start. Well seems something didn't work out bc he didn't stay long, and the business started to shift badly after that. I can only imagine what happened to him baised on whats happening now. So I encourage my people to stay away until they get it right. I mean drive a little further and just go to Pappas BBQ. Same price or less and better food / service. STAY STRONG, FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHTS, TRUST GOD AND STAY BLESSED!"
"I went there for the first time today and the food was amazing. I went through the drive thru and the employee was friendly. I ordered a baked potato and carrot cake. Both were delicious and inexpensive."
"I felt unwelcome as soon as i walked in. The guy behind the register this morning was rude for no reason. Lucky for the business the food was for someone else otherwise I would have canceled."
