"The owner is very nice , food had a good flavor BUT the fish tastes like swai fish (which is still part of the catfish family), but I prefer real, 100% catfish. The shrimp had a good flavor but the batter was kind of soft. Overall good flavor, biggest take away was the fish. Price wise: seafood platter (1 fish , 4 shrimp, fries and boudain ball) is $17 and I added extra shrimp for $1.50 each, not bad."

"If you’re looking for authentic NOLA/Louisiana cuisine this is the place! I truly enjoyed my experience and 1st time at Bourbon St Poboyz. Everything is FRESH made to order, I had the 10pc Fried Shrimp plate that includes fries & hush puppies. The shrimps was EVERYTHING well-seasoned with a good crunchy batter, the size was perfect and you can tell it’s a great quality gulf shrimp! Love the fries with the special seasonings on them and the hush puppies were TOO good OH MY! They had a sweet hint to them it was just everything, by far the best hush puppies I ever had. I’m so glad my friend/sis Trell Blazin introduced me to this establishment and owner Mr. Pat. He’s a very humble man with excellent customer service and hospitality. I suggest ANYONE to give this place a try and I promise you’ll keep coming back. I’m believing God will bless Mr. Pat with trustworthy employees and business partners that will help expand his business and lighten up the load. Hats off to Mr. Pat for holding his business down."

"The food was so delicious! Freshly made as each customer orders. I came here to try Mr. Pat's spot for the first time & to do my 1st MukbAng Video for my YouTube channel "Rocking Wit Trell". Man O Man every single item had my taste buds dancing!! He works hard! He was the cashier, & made each customers food to order. He truly takes pride in his business. Has a beautiful establishment & it's super clean. I took half of my shrimp Po-boy home for my sis to try & my brother had a taste & a chicken sandwich (not pictured). They complimented the taste so much I left right back out b/c they wanted more. So my brother & I left to go & get them some grub from Bourbon St. Po-boys. I was so happy a friend told me about this B.O.B. I will be back again & again! It's a hidden gem I now know about & been telling people since. Just be patient with him & the wait times.
