"Walked in to get 4 new tires installed, got ignored then skipped in line so I had to say something. Started the process with someone who didn't know what they were doing. When they got someone more knowledgeable to help me they told me " the only mechanic they had wasn't changing tires right now cause he was leaving soon." This was at 4pm and they close at 7pm."
"After utilizing Wal Mart many times for my oil changes I will have to start doing it myself again. 2 stores in a row did not provide me good service. The first one did not put the correct amount of oil in and did not tighten the oil filter. I noticed because my oil pressure dropped prompting me to check my oil. At only 2,000 miles on the oil change it was not showing on the dip stick. I came to this store to explain my problem and said all I wanted was to pay for a new complete Mobil 1 oil change done correctly. After again noticing it using oil I decided to take a look. First thing I noticed was not only a Fram oil filter but the wrong part number. They had put a compact car oil filter on a full size Nissan Armada SUV. This caused a secondary problem. A leak behind the oil filter at the oil cooler gasket. I am at Wal Mart right now only asking for a refund for the oil change obviously done incorrectly. It looks like at this point they may not even refund it despite the fact they show the service in the computer does not match what they installed. I am waiting for them to look at video footage for the transaction. I frequent Wal Mart and buy many things from eyeglasses to groceries and many many more items. Frustrated and not happy. This is a case of my peace being interrupted by a corporate giant not caring about the service they provide. I unfortunately will have to resort to what I did for many years. Change my own oil. It’s such a simple task that should be easy to do everyday without fail. A fine specimen of the fall of man. I could be at home playing pool but instead I’m sitting here waiting on a stupid video to be looked at that they also said they could not show me. Sounds a little fishy when you cannot be allowed to see the video they will be looking at for proof. Although I hope the right thing is done and a refund is granted I have my doubts. No Refund Granted. Don’t let this happen to you. Find honesty and integrity somewhere else because it does not exist at this auto center."
"I took my vehicles at the Auto Center located in Walmart for an oil change. When I got home which is off Becker Road and 290 my oil light started to come one. When I finally made it home the entire oil was leaking from the bottom of my car. I called Walmart several times to see if they have a solution for this situation, but no one ever answered the phone must have called more than 20x’s. I only have one vehicle in my household therefore I wasn’t able to go and buy oil. Waiting for an at home service company to come to my house tomorrow Sunday to properly put oil in my car. If I didn’t know better my car would have messed up, I’m interested to know what they would have done. But once I get this fixed I will get ahold of corporate they need to hire individuals that know what they are going, forgot to mention I was there at Walmart for 3 hour all for a bad job that could have ruined my vehicle for good."
"Unfortunately the poor reviews are true. I've taken my cars here a couple times for oil changes. Usually I go workout while they work bc it always takes at least 2 hours. I went today at 745 am and was told if would be a 3 hour wait for an oil change. There was one car ahead of me. The staff is friendly, but 3 hrs is ridiculous."
"I would give a 0 if I could. On July 19, 2023 I came to Walmart to have my battery changed and to get an oil change. I had never done this at Walmart before, but figured I would give them a shot. The next day after leaving Walmart, I noticed oil was leaking out of my car. It left a football size puddle in my garage after just one day. I went back to Walmart a day or 2 later. When I talked to one of the mechanics and let them know what I noticed, AND showed him a picture of how big the puddle was, he told me that’s pretty normal after an oil change. I asked that regardless if it was “normal” or not, I would appreciate someone looking at it. They looked at it, gave me keys back with no real explanation of what caused the leak. They said the screw just might not have been tightened enough. Low and behold, it continued to leak. I decide to give up going back to Walmart and instead go to Take 5 to see if they can see the problem. They told me that Walmart added a silicone piece under my screw, almost like they were trying to patch something up. They recommended I go back to Walmart and have them remove that piece. This time I go back with my husband. That helped a little (sadly, I felt like they were trying to convince me my car was not leaking UNTIL my husband was with me). I tell them the problem, show them my receipts, explain that this has NEVER been an issue any other time I’ve changed my oil at other shops like Take 5. The manager comes out and we talk to him too. He checks out the car. He takes a picture of it all cleaned up and says he doesn’t see anything wrong with it. They said he sees no silicone piece. He said the yellow paint on that part is not even a color they use at Walmart. He said they only use blue. HOWEVER, we called over the mechanic that we know worked on my car last and asked him if he used blue or yellow paint when he was finished. He said “I don’t remember.” If you only have yellow, then why would you have to remember? They would take absolutely no responsibility for what they did. They refilled my oil and that’s all they did. I went to another mechanic, and he said Walmart absolutely added a silicone piece. I now have to get parts replaced in my car due to Walmart’s negligence. Honestly, I would sue them to pay for the parts if I had the time and energy. I will not return to Walmart for auto care, and have told my entire family to never take their car here. It’s unacceptable that they would not take responsibility for their mistake. We all make mistakes, but man up and own it."
