"My husband and I stop in from time to time. The atmosphere is quit pleasant. The food is great I love the fried chicken!!! I must say it’s the best fried chicken I’ve had sense relocating to the area. To me the Biggest delight to visiting the restaurant is that each time my husband and I visit the owner comes out to communicate with us. That’s absolutely amazing that he takes the time to come and communicate with those in his establishment. If your ever in the area stop by brag an order of wings oh and don’t forget to grab some Banana Pudding!!!!"

"Sad to say nothing to write home about. I went Friday after work the place was empty (2-3pm). The young lady that took my order wasn't friendly at all. Very dry and moody. I ordered the catfish, red/kidney bean & cabbage. The only thing that was good was the bean & rice! The cabbage was mushy and the fish was a wet kinda fry. I guess with the name I was expecting outstanding food. Very disappointed."

"We came in because we had plans to visit as soon as we got into town. Let me tell you that it was an AMAZING TIME!!! It all stared with Jordan our server who did a great job explaining the menu & then making sure we were taken care of. There portions were so much so that knew we were gonna take food home, but we still ordered more. If you want to be treated right, have good food & have great entertainment this is the spot to go to. This will be our go to spot ever time we come into town! The band was playing music & we're engaging with the crowd which made it even better. The smothered pork chops was so tender that I didn't need a knife & the ox tails were so tender that my cousin couldn't do anything but hold it like a little kid while eating. Such a great experience! WE'LL BE BACK!!!!"

"Walking in to this restaurant, we didn’t realize it had opened this past month. I kind of judged it harshly at first but the food more than made up for it. Then the owner came by the table to ask us how everything was and gave us a little info on the restaurant. Then it all made sense. I’m excited to have a place like this near me. I hope it takes off and sticks around for good. I had the smothered pork chop with rice which was very tasty. The stand outs to me, though, were the sides. Especially the crawfish Mac and cheese. The cornbread is amazing, too. I thought it was a little pricey at first, but when I was finished eating, the price made sense. I’m looking forward to going back and seeing how they progress with the menu and decor. You should definitely give the place a try!"
