"I am a global event planner who had a last minute group of 20 in need of lunch. I take my groups to 5-star restaurants that never have given me as great service and food!!! I called and was connected to the owner Adrian who without hesitation jumped in, without even asking for a deposit - on total faith reserved his busy Thursday lunch for my group, did a pre-order, reserved a long table, and served us quickly and got my group on the road and back to their meetings. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!!! Catfish - who knew, a group fav! **Please give your business to this family owned and operated restaurant - I can't tell you how wonderful they are!"
"I ordered the baked potatoe large 17.99 before tax is pretty high for a chopped beef baked potatoe.( I received chopped beef bits ) I also ordered the fish with fries 13.99 pre tax . I was unsatisfied with the amount food as well as presentation . I mean it just wasn't worth the cost of the food. Why slic a fish vertically into chicken tenders and charge $14.00 for 3 and 15 fries???.."
"Stopped by this place for lunch today. Staff was very friendly. I got to meet the owner. He was very friendly! I ordered a few meats. Ribs were tender and just the right amount of smoke. The brisket ! Fat rendered. Slightly yellowed. Just right!! Absolutely recommend!!!"
"I had the two meat plate with brisket and hot links. Both of the meats are great. I also had two sides - mac n cheese and baked beans. They were both good but I feel like they probably came out of a can. Overall they’re very friendly and the seating area is perfect. Adrian the cook (and Virgies son) came out and thanked me for stopping by. If you’re looking for something mom n pops or even just a break away from the big bbq joints this place definitely is worth it. Four stars only because I feel the sides were from a can."
"The BBQ brisket was bomb! Had a two meat plate with brisket and sausage, potato salad and coleslaw. It came with bread, pickles, onion, and sliced jalapeños. I did not care for their sauce however, I don't really use sauce, so it wasn't an issue as it was served on the side. Honestly, this was the best $20 I've spent in a while."
