"My husband and I met up for lunch since we were both working in the same area for once. Had never been but was looking forward to trying it. While ordering the cashier was rude as we were trying to figure out what to get, no one else was there waiting to order. We order, and pay and then realize we didn't order drinks, so ask for 2 drinks or water and ready to pay again. Rudely told there is no drinks, once asking for a refund she asks why with an attitude. Clearly your attitude, we could've got past the no drinks and just got a drink from the gas station next door but the level of rudeness is unnecessary."

"THE best gumbo I have ever had. My husband lost it when he tried the Cajun sausage with red beans and rice because it had been a VERY long time since he had any this good. The pasta sauce is also fantastic, and my little one (who is picky) actually ate a decent amount of it, along with the garlic bread. We have made it a point to come at least once a month because the food is delicious. 5 star food!"

"Food was bland. Red beans and rice had no flavor whatsoever. The grits were the only thing i enjoyed in my meal. Found what looked like an eyelash in my banana pudding. I’m conclusion, I won’t be eating here again."

"Just your basic catfish place, but the fish is cooked pretty good. Light, balanced with the right amount of crunchy. Not too crispy that it hurts your jaws, and the breading is not too thick. The cheese grits you can choose as a side is also pleasantly aromatic and even has sausages in it! The chicken and sausage gumbo was a bit too peppery though. Overall, very basic bayou food, but if catfish fillet is exactly what you crave... I'd recommend it."
