Alamo Alehouse & Burgers 9800 Airport Boulevard, San Antonio, TX 78216

"After six hours of delayed flights I decided to grab a drink and something to eat. Before I could cross the threshold the bartender barks, "Kitchen is closed." No hello or nothing, no offer to make a drink or pour a beer. I turned around and left, never to come back. Ghastly."

"Not a whole lot of options in the airport, and I'd say it seems as though this place has some opportunities in terms of employees, and customer service. The 2 young ladies working were extremely rude and were too busy conversing to get up to assist us when we walked in. Took our orders reluctantly, super short, annoyed at any question we had about the menu, and quickly cashed us out to go sit back down to chit chat. Another gentleman walked up and sat there for a good few minutes looking around for help, when I pointed them out talking in the corner, he had to walk over for help. One of the girls looked at him and said "Have a seat wherever, and I'll be with you shortly." And went back to talking. He was so annoyed he just walked out. Food was subpar. Reminded me of bingo hall, cafeteria style burgers. Patties were definitely frozen, our cheese wasn't even melted on our burgers, and their pre-made dip excuse for "avocado" for our avocado burgers had so much lime, I couldn't get any other flavor from the burger. I'd say for the price, you might as well try the fast food spots. You aren't missing much."

"I just needed a bite before my flight because as you know food is off the flight plan since forever, but not in here. I had the most amazing moment of breakfast bliss when I tasted this beauty..... go here and enjoy...."

"The breakfast burger and hashbrowns were delicious. This is the quickest and best tasting airport food I have had thus far. The price wasn’t too crazy for an airport and every ingredient tasted great. The butter they use on the buns is to die for."

"$18.99 for a rubbery chicken sandwich. Nothing else included. The sweet potato fries in my pictures cost extra! And, one beer...$17.99! I understand this is an airport but that can't justify these prices. The service was decent but you have to tip for that in addition to the bill, right?? Eat before you get to the airport!"
