"Flavor: B Service: B Tea: A Solo dining: A This is pretty good for a fast-food-type charbroiled burger. Add some salt and pepper, add more of whatever condiments suit you (which I appreciated), and you’ve got a decent meal. It took a while to get our food, but it wasn’t piping hot. The staff were great, though. I’d say this is a step above Whataburger and on-par with Murf’s Better Burger."

"If you like Jim's you'll like the frontier Burger. Basically it's all about the burger here to include a patty melt. Also chicken sandwich. Fan of their crinkle fries, little crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. And those mini thin onion rings are always fun. And one of the few places in town that doesn't charge you (and allows you) to get half and half, yay for half and half. I've never been a fan of their diced lettuce but that could just be me. Overall great experience, the gentleman at the counter who took our order was incredibly friendly and courteous. He explained options and was very patient. Great service!"

"So I came here for the first time and ordered a frontier double with no tomato heavy onion with a bowl of chili. My order came out hot but tomato was on the sandwich and no extra onion. I requested a refund. Alexa the manager apologized and gave me a refund. What made this experience five stars, Alexa made sure that I didn't walk out the door with a sour taste in my mouth. She remade my order and no cost to me. This made a lifetime customer when I visit San Antonio. The burger was flavorful,.juicy. the fries and onions rings were burn your mouth fresh and hot. Thank you Alexa for turning lemons into lemonade. Your superior customer service made the difference for me. I'll definitely be back."

"The biscuit was hard and dry, the sausage was hard and dry. I got my son a cheeseburger and the patty was hard and dry. I know it’s Frontier burger but I didn’t think the were going to stay true to the chuckwagon dried meat and hardtack theme. There’s better food out there, but give it a try if you really like flame broiled flavor. The register guy didn’t hear me say a chocolate chip cookie so it didn’t make it onto the order and we didn’t realize it until we drive off. Also I don’t like crinkle cut fries, that’s what I make when I’m poor, not what I want when I eat out."

"Great place that has been around for a lot of years! We got a cheeseburger with onion rings. Char broiled taste. Tony and Val got their fries....thick krinkle cut. The onion rings were good. The place is owned by Jim's. Recommend. Great place to bring the kids."
