"It’s tough finding good bbq but their brisket had a perfect bark, smoke ring and the fat rendered to be as smooth as butter. Tater casserole was my favorite! Corn was yummy. The gentleman working was very attentive making sure we had everything needed for our meal. Will definitely be back hopefully before they sell out of ribs next time."
"Love these brisket tacos. Good portion with big flavor. Green salsa is on point."
"Excellent authentic BBQ. Full flavor, no short cuts taken. Sides are top notch. Prices are reasonable especially for being so close to San Antonio city proper."
"Was visiting San Antonio. Found this place thru Google, and I must say it did not disappoint. I ordered the brisket plate with the cream corn and loaded tatertots. It was delicious. The brisket held a flavourful bark and was extremely tender. The corn almost reminded me of a Mexican corn cup with a sweet and nutty smoke overlay. All in all I rate a 10 out of 10"
"Outdoors only, TV’s, and lots of seating. Perfect place for fall weather. Staff is great. The brisket was very juicy and delicious. The Spanish rice was okay, kinda seemed liked packaged rice. The beans were super good based on what my hubby said. I personally thought they had a light after taste of burned beans. Potato salad was good and the bbq sauce was extra sweet not the biggest fan. The brisket sandwich lacked flavor or was just missing a little something…next time I’ll stick with a plate. The flour tortillas were really really good."
