"Gotta be crazy management running this location. As other reviews say there are always strange policies, hours, and signs up. The employees struggle to make simple sandwiches and don’t seem to have been trained. I got sick after eating the “tuna” here once. They are also always out of random items and drinks."

"I recently had a deeply disappointing experience at the Subway at 6827 N Loop 1604 W Suite 101, San Antonio, TX. As a senior at UTSA, I frequent this spot due to its affordability compared to on-campus options. However, on my last visit, I encountered several issues that raise serious concerns: 1. The deli meat for my 6-inch cold cut combo looked off-color, suggesting it might not be safe to eat. 2. When I switched to a foot-long meatball sandwich, it was poorly filled with only five meatballs. 3. The spinach used was wilted, questioning the freshness of ingredients. 4. My request for a refund was denied, with a claim only the owner or manager can process it. The manager, Patricia Rueda, seemed uninterested in addressing my concerns when I managed to get in touch. Considering these issues, I strongly urge fellow UTSA students to think twice before choosing this location. It might be worth spending a bit more on campus for fresh food. This experience isn't what I'd expect from Subway, an international brand. I genuinely hope this feedback sparks some much-needed change at this location."
