Burger Boy 9334 Potranco Road, San Antonio, TX 78245

"I used to live very close to this Burger Boy. I would eat there a lot and it was always amazing. I never had an issue. I got relocated and had an opportunity to visit San Antonio, so I made sure I drove to Burger Boy. As usual the shakes are on point and amazing. It was very busy and they didn't have a plan for the traffic coming in from both directions. The outside order takers assume everyone stopping by knows the menu and didn't have a menu available even though they took order in front of building. Line moved quick, the Fries were very hot and tasted great. The burger is not how I remembered it. This time the bun was hard, the Burger slightly overcooked and the Burger was smashed. I still highly recommend Burger Boy. I'm chaulking this visit up to them having a bad day."

"First time trying this place and I let RUBEN know this. He took my order and let me know of different options available not showing in the menu. His patience, friendly attitude made my 1st time experience great. My food was great as well. The burger meet was cooked all the way and French fries were fresh just made. Not recooked or old like in other places. Will be going back to this location"

"I’m writing this review with great disappointment. I have been a customer since my children were small. We always enjoyed lunch and dinner at the original Burger Boy on St. Mary’s Street. The burgers were juicy, thick and delicious. We moved out of the area, and these other locations started popping up. Little by little the burgers lost their originality. This last experience was the worst. While I understand times are hard, food prices are high, and economy is not what it used to be, the product and quality have suffered. I took a picture of the burger, just to show. The patty is just as thin as a McDonald’s one, maybe even thinner. My burger looked like a veggie burger. Whether this may have been a one off or not, I was saddened by the quality. Other than that, the place is very clean, staff are good. Parking is not too shabby but can be problematic during rush hours."

"Drive thru person made it easy and was very patient and self explanatory, we got the bates, working man, a hot dog and the peppermint chocolate shake. The only thing I liked was the shake and fries, wasn’t impressed. My hubby said the burger tasted like a Tommy’s burger…"

"Went for lunch at around 1pm; interior was clean, service was great, and the food was hot. This is a classic “fast food burger” done right. While I don’t know when my next visit would be (considering I’m from out of town, and the chain has no locations outside the San Antonio area), I will definitely be returning one day."
