Yoshiya Umami Beef Bowl

"I loved the anime decor and figurines. The staff greets you in Japanese and a smile when you enter. The cashier was very helpful in helping me to order and describing the menu items. I had the Yoshiya beef bowl with a side of Kimchi and the Yoshiya chicken donbury bowls. Portions were good. My kids loved both. The food was very flavorful. I would have liked more vegetables. I actually went back a couple of days later to try the Chicken Katsu Curry. I had it medium heat and it was enjoyable as well and the perfect spicy level. I will definitely be going back!"

"This place has become a favorite for my husband and I. The owner is wonderful and is ALWAYS very welcoming and joyful. The customer service is always expeditious and friendly. I really feel like I'm visiting Japan with the cultural decor and hospitable vibe. My husband told me the food is EXACTLY how he remembers Japan when he was stationed there as he always gets the katsu combo. I always get the tender beef bowl and as a chef myself, the food is perfect. The beef is perfectly marinated and the pickled ginger really brings the dish together. The gyoza is prepared like I remember from living in Korea, crispy on the outside with the harmonious flavors of a well combined filling. The complimentary sauce for the crispy egg rolls and gyoza is spot on. I can tell that the owner takes a lot of pride in his food preparation as his attention to detail with his knife cuts on the tofu in the miso soup is meticulously executed. The establishment is always clean and has a fun and anime vibe to the decor. I really love how the food is presented and the flavors are something that will leave you craving more. "I wanted something to remind me of my time stationed in Okinawa, and Yoshiya filled that void we had the chicken katsu curry, which is spot on! And the beef udon noodles were fantastic!they have a volcano rice dish, which I can not wait to try. Their service is so gracious. The steady stream of people shows how good the food is.
