"First time eating here, even though I've lived minutes away my whole life. The food was great, prices were cheap. Service was fast. One of the first places Ive seen combination plates that contained no sides, and just entree items. Was great, ordered a 2 enchiladas, 2 puffy taco plate & a drink and it cost me $10. Food came out in just a few minutes. Complimentary chips and salsa, a wide variety of items on the menu. I was so impressed I went back just a few days later and ordered another plate to go. Got the 3 enchilada, 3 puffy taco that time. The enchilada sauce had good flavor, the cheese was a bit sharp, but fully cooked and liquified. The puffy tacos had good flavor, shells were crisp on the outside and still moist inside. Nothing negative to say about this place. The exterior is probably what kept me from eating here sooner. Its easy to pass by, but has recently been repainted, and the parking area refinished. Great neighborhood restaurant with good food."

"I came here three days in a row, tried different dishes on the menu. Love all of them! The breakfast taco special between 6am and 10 am is a huge steal (3 for 2.99!). I am on one meal a day diet so I eat a lot. But still paying less than $20 including tips. The food is great. Large portions, good flavors, fast services. Clean and cozy."

"This place is a really good restaurant I discovered one day out of the blue. Looks a little rough but don't let that fool you. Been here like 5 times and food is always good and hot. It is a really good deal, the prices are really reasonable. The puffy taco with the enchiladas is a good plate. Recommend. Carne guisada was also good as were the rice, beans and tortillas. This restaurant is a lot better than that other place a few blocks up the road. I think it has equally as good food as some of the other highly named and very over priced restaurants on the Southside. And you don't have to wait."
