"Hi, life long San Antonian here. If you are going to get Chinese food in the area. You should get it from these nice folks. I always get lemon chicken and cheese rangoon with fried rice and this place hits the spot. The portions are generous and the prices are competitive. Some in the reviews consider these people rude, but people of Asian cultures can often come off that way because of differences in cross-cultural linguistics. Cultures that use tonal linguistics may sound short or harsh in their tone when that is not their intention. Understanding differences in how we communicate can also help us understand each other."
"I had the shrimp with lobster sauce, and it was amazing! My husband had cashew chicken. He loves it! Had the lemon chicken, and it was amazing! Sorry, I didn't have a picture of it."
"My first time entering this location and wow! Delicious food with great service"
"The food and service were excellent and just like we remembered but we were saddened that we were the only dine in customers when we arrived. We would often frequent the restaurant when my husband worked on that side of town a number of years ago and it was always packed. Today we decided to try having lunch there. We parked around the back of the building and walking up, the place looked abandoned. We almost walked back to the car. The exterior glass was very dirty and there was a large white sign with red letters near the door. Without reading it, it looked like a "for lease" sign. It turned out to be a "now hiring" sign. The bank next door has since moved out adding to the abandoned look but we could see the door was cracked so upon opening it there were servers there waiting but every table was empty. We were the only dine in customers for quite a while. By the time we left, 3 other tables were occupied and they did serve customers with pick up orders. The food was still excellent and service was wonderful. A few slight changes to the exterior might draw in more customers."
"We ordered lemon chicken. Some of the pieces were hard and as if it was microwaved. Rice was plain, and chicken had a smell to it. This place use to be really good."
