"I have been ordering pad thai from Thai Chilli the same exact way for YEARS. No egg, no sauce. Today, for the first time since 2013, my tofu was burnt and it caused the whole dish to taste burnt. I called to let them know and the lady I talked to tried blaming me. “It’s because you ordered it with no egg.” She told me in order for them to make me a new one, I have to take this order back. As if I want to drive all the way back over there, show them that I’m not lying, and then wait another 20 minutes for them to make me a new one. To make matters worse, I was told in order to receive a refund, I’d have to go through the website that I placed my order through. Surprise, surprise, there is no option anywhere to contact anybody about a refund. I didn’t even get so much as an apology. This place has been going downhill for a while now but I still supported it. Last straw for me. Way to lose a loyal customer of 10+ years."
"Best Thai food in San Antonio and I’ll arm wrestle anyone who says otherwise. I live in Nashville now but frequented this place when I lived here so every time I’m home I come back. It sounds simple but they do Thai fried rice right. At other places it’s often bland but they season so perfectly it’s hard not to get it every time. The seafood spring rolls for appetizers are an absolute treat!"
"We were in the area and decided to stop by for lunch. The restaurant inside is clean and well maintained. The employees were nice and helpful with the menu since it was our first visit. I decided on the tofu pad Thai and my husband chose the shrimp fried rice. We were not disappointed. The pad Thai had good flavor and just the right amount of sauce. My husband truly enjoyed the shrimp fried rice and I have to say he’s picky with his food, so that says a lot. We enjoyed eating and definitely recommend it."
"By far the best tai restaurant in San Antonio! If you like Spicy this is the place for you. They will make it as hot as you want it. For example, although it’s on a scale of 1-10, you could ask for a 20,40,50, whatever you want! The lunch special is such a good deal. On top of your meal you get a spring roll and a Rangoon. All for a affordable price. Didn’t have to wait long at all. It’s easy to tell that the food is authentic and that it’s made with love."
"Food was great. Had great vegan options. Restaurant was pretty empty when we got there, but it filled up quick. I would recommend trying the vegetable fried rice for an alternative to anything with meat. The mango Boba is also really good. Workers were really nice and helpful, and I would really recommend eating here."
