"Good old plain food. Our table had the daily special which was chicken fried steak. They also put together a veggie plate for me. Amazing Gracie was a wonderful server you can't go wrong at Josephine St Cafe. When our group plays golf at Brackenridge we always stop at Josephine for lunch."

"Happy hour from 3-6pm $1.00 off on Tuesday specials. Morgan New servers was good. Onion rings and house salad great. Steaks were nice a cooked to perfection. Was a wonderful evening dinner."

"I was so disappointed, I ate here probably 10 years ago and it was amazing. This visit was a miss all the way. Had to get my own beer after asking my waitresses, then when our appetizer arrived we had no utensils or napkins. The guy I'm guessing who was the manager had to bring us some. When the food came the fries on my daughter's plate was cold, my wife's fish was warm at best, and my steak was way over cooked. I had to send it back. I'm sorry to say I will not be going back."

"Great little spot. Food was good. Pretty solid across the board. Had a crew party, we had mostly steaks. I got the New York Strip. It wasn't a great piece of meat, but it was cooked perfectly. Onion rings didn't have any salt. Desserts were okay. Wine was excellent. For the most part the service was great, until the waitress shut the heater off. Just to make us leave. We probably dropped $500 on food and drinks. Not cool."

"Debating if I'll go to Josephine Street again after this terrible experience. My wife and I went for happy hour. This was a great spot several years ago, but we did not have a great experience this time. We were sat immediately and served our drinks. Then, our server was nowhere to be found for at least 20 minutes. We kept waving at other servers trying to get the attention of someone to take our food order. I ordered the T-bone medium rare. My steak was served with parts medium and then other parts rare. My wife ordered the sirloin medium plus. Her steak was served very well done and dry. With a lack of good service, we ended up just eating the steaks how they were served. The drinks were okay, nothing special, a beer and a margarita. Very disappointed!"
