"TexMex at its best! I had the Carne Guisada plate and a Carnitas taco. First of all you could put mud in these tortillas and it would taste great. Their tortillas are puffy, airy, delicious, pieces of heaven. I wanna make a blanket out of them and cuddle and eat all night! The Carne guisada was so tender and super delicious. The rice was not the typical clump of second thoughts. It had wonderful flavor and not all clumped together. Beans were homemade and very good. The Carnitas were excellent! Tender, flavorful, and with the hot green salsa.. forget about it. This place is not that far from downtown and would be worth the drive wherever you are in San Antonio. Beats all the tourist traps and internet popularity contests. The real deal."

"I ordered a chicken fajita torta and it came with fries. Both were amazing. The chips and salsa were great as well. I've had lots of salsa in my life and there's is in my top 5. I'm surprised this place isn't busy. I will be back."

"Went for lunch with my co-workers. This place had great food and it all tasted really good. It did have a lot of people inside the restaurant. I've already been there twice. Both items I gave bought have been delicious. One thing I should of got was the pork chop plate that my coworker got. It is 2 large pork chops that are deep fried. I got to taste a small piece of it and it also tasted delicious."
