"I enjoyed my dinner here. It was our first time and my husband is a bit of a seafood snob being from Maui but he was pleasantly surprised. Just be warned, the portions are substantial as we got the seafood platter and Aransas platter and we both had leftovers. Will definitely come back again now that we live in San Antonio and the added value is great."

"Wow! So many good things to say about this place. Every part of both my wife and I 's meals were perfect and delicious! We will be returning to satiate our shrimp and lobster roll cravings!"

"I ordered the lobster roll with a side of rice and corn. The corn was over cooked, the rice tasted like boxed Rice-a-roni. The lobster was cooked great, but the pairing with the sauce and vegetables inside the dish took away from it being a great roll. $19.99 was a true waste for the roll and the star of the show was really the roll of bread it was on, cooked to perfection. Although the atmosphere was nice and service was great, what I found absolutely disgusting was that back of house workers were going in and out of the restroom with their aprons on and wiping their hands on their aprons as they left the restroom. Completely unsanitary. One worker also walked out of the restroom carrying a steak knife and proceeded to walk to the back with it in his hand. Wish I caught it on camera, but I am sure if you visit you will witness the same. We witnessed 3 employees walk into the restroom with aprons on."

"This location has never disappointed. Stopped in and enjoyed a great meal. Sea Island is a San Antonio original and offers a great value for great seafood. Portions are huge and so tasty. Was a little disappointed that they don't offer the Mexican shrimp cocktail anymore, but was pleasantly surprised with the replacement campechana (which is basically the same dish served in a glass and has a little thinner consistency). Staff was friendly and helpful. Always great to stop in."
