"I am very disappointed with this place. They have TVs but don't play anything. We got queso for our chips, and it was cold. We asked the waiter to heat it up and came back the same way we sent it. I couldn't eat cold cheese with my chips. I got the enchiladas, which tasted good. The rice was ok, but they gave me like two table spoons of rice, then a ton of refried beans that were the worst I had in years. They may have been reheated, and they got burnt and dry from the oven. The guacamole tasted like it was from a store and not made. The place was clean but the food was very disappointing."
"I thoroughly enjoyed it. In a city with tons of Mexican restaurants, this one definitely stands out. Really good prices and chips and salsa, as well as the chicken enchiladas are definitely top notch! Highly recommend!"
"I was looking for a place to wait and have a meal while my daughter was at the Maverick library nearby. I saw this location and decided to try it out. I was greeted with smiles and was seated. They took my order quickly and the food came out fast. The chips and salsa was really good. I ordered the asada combo or #1 on the menu. The steak was really tasty. No it wasn't wagyu ribeye but was good enough to hit the spot especially at their price point. The location has a nice clean vibe. I might not go out my way to be back, but will definitely come back if I am in the area."
"Honestly the food is pretty standard, same Mexican food you can get anywhere else in the city. The atmosphere is pretty nice, well above average. I'm giving it a low rating because they add a credit card surcharge to your bill without telling you, in violation of Texas law. A restaurant that is willing to try and sneakily rip off their customers for 2 bucks is probably also willing to cut other corners, so I won't be going back."
"If you like Al Pastor tacos, you won’t want any other taco when you taste these!!! and if you dine in ask for Monica she was very pleasant. I will be there 2 to 3 times a week!!!"
