"I asked Main entry server, if they have chicken mushroom, and he replied," no we do not , in a sarcastic tone" and no reason given why it's not available. I asked cashier who was in charge, and she pointed out a black male with button up shirt. I asked him ,is there a reason,why they are not selling the chicken and mushroom that I always purchase when I come. He stated we have too many options right now. Really! That was a sorry reason when I have come here plenty of times and order that plate Everytime I eat here. I asked the waitress the same question after I had to select another entry , so I'm aware for next time , if I have to call in advance or if they plan to take this off the menu and I will eat somewhere else instead. I was told they didn't have enough stuff to make the entry. I eat here every monthly 2-4 times , and throughout the year with my wife, family and friends. I need more transparency, so I know if I need to go elsewhere if they are not going to sell my entry that I come for. I don't like anything else they sell here but the chicken and mushroom with rice and gravy."

"Old Fashion-style buffet that I remember growing up in the south. Multiple main coarse and side offerings with consistent great flavor. The line manager is always, hands on deck, and trying hard to make sure the food is hot and plentiful. My go-to is chopped steak with onions and brown gravy, carrots salad with pineapple, fried potatoes and blackeye peas with homemade apple pie for desert...yum...Nothing fancy, just plain Americana good."

"Luby's great but only giving it 4 out if 5 because the area around this Luby's is not very safe. Lots of vagrants begging in the parking lot for moneu. The food was great, the service was streamlined and proficient and the servers were very nice."

"The food was okay. Not as tasty as they used to be. They still have good prices on the meals. Friendly, helpful staff and very clean. Great place to eat with friends and family. The cornbread was the best part of my lunch."

"Been eating here for years. Mother and myself had dinner here and missed the cafeteria style experience. Ordered my go to fish super flakey and delicious. My sides were hot and filling, broccoli with extra cheese and mashed potatoes. Its been a staple in my life for years."
