"Visited early dinner time on a Wednesday. The location was memorable. Service was impeccable! Food tasted amazing and didn’t wait for food very long. Me and my boyfriend agreed this was best meal from Mexican-style restaurant in years."

"I stopped in here on Tuesday, 2/13, to meet a friend to have some lunch. I had not been to this locally owned family run restaurant in several years. Given that it was the lunch hour, it was pretty crowded, and almost every table was taken. It took a little while for the waitress to get to me, as she had already visited the table before I arrived. She returned to our table, and I ordered a water and two (2) soft picadillo tacos, which were $2.99 a piece. They kept us well stocked in chips and salsa, and the salsa had a nice flavor. Our food arrived in a timely manner. I ate the 2 tacos, but the consistency of the picadillo and flavor just didn't taste right to me. I probably should have said something, but my lunch mate picked up the tab. I used to frequent this restaurant many times a week some years ago, but it will probably be a few more years before I revisit it again. It is a good restaurant again, family owned, and does have a good following. I hope your experience is better than mine was."

"I am allergic to tomatoes so when I ordered my food I said NO TOMATOES. But as I get my food I open the box and it's tomatoes all over my shrimp nachos... I got chicken nachos and shrimp nachos both no tomatoes. My chicken nachos had none so I'm confused on why they didn't read the directions for the shrimp one's"

"It was a very busy Wednesday night at this Las Palapas location, but the service was still good. My tortilla soup combo was very tasty and served at the perfect temperature I prefer. The restaurant itself is clean and well maintained. I'll certainly be back."
