"The food was nothing special... One of the folks in our group had the roast beef sandwich which he said was unpleasant due to gristle in the meat. I ordered the Caesar salad and instead of using the heart of the romaine lettuce it was completely made of the top portion. I would compare it to eating uncooked collard greens. On the positive side the Caesars dressing was good! On the positive side, the chicken wings were very good. The sauce on the wings was labeled as hot, which it was, and quite flavorful! The french fries and tater tots or fresh and cook to a perfect crispness! Our server was young, however he was very energetic and very helpful. Prices were very fair and competitive with other restaurants!"

"Great active group of Iowa Hawkeye I-Club members...the bar sets up a dedicated area... Not sure who to contact to reserve a seat so they know you're coming if you want to see an Iowa game... If you don't care about seeing the Iowa game they have plenty of other areas lots of people are going in and out...it's very busy and that should tell you a lot..."

"Love the playground for the kids. Very nice when the temperature is cooler like it was this past weekend. The food and service are subpar. After ordering, I waited for over 10 minutes at the bar for my beer. I finally asked the waitress to bring it out to me when it was ready. Ordered two appetizers (wings and mozzarella bites) but they did not come out early. They came out the same time as my Philly sandwich. The mozzarella bites were over cooked with cheese coming out. They would have been excellent had they been cooked properly. The wings were incredibly dry and needed more sauce. Take note: You are charged extra for everything!! More than one wing sauce, you’ll be charged. I asked for blue cheese but got ranch and when I said I needed blue cheese they wanted to charge me for it. The chicken Philly with queso wasn’t the best. Lacking chicken and was definitely more bread. I tore off half the hoagie and threw it away. The other half was the right amount for the meat that was on it. Definitely needs more meat to justify the cost. I got the regular fries with it but they were soggy and undercooked. Nice sports bar atmosphere so I’d probably go back again if in the area and others had kids that needed to play. Bathrooms needed attention while we were there. I only used them once and it was about 9:30 pm. Attention to some of these things and food quality and consistency can help make it a better experience for others. But the time it takes for food and drinks really needs to get better."

"The first time we ordered from here, it was amazing. The next two times were total letdowns. Second time, nothing tasted good and they forgot an item from the order. Today, they finally had all the items but the chicken Philly had none of the queso promised and had (some) raw onions instead of caramelized and mushrooms which were requested to be removed. It was so dry we had to add numerous things and it still just tasted like the hoagie, no flavor. I did finally get the Mac & cheese I've ordered twice now and that is good. The wings are delicious as always. Rating a 4/5 because the wings were so good but the Philly is inedible."
