"First visit, spent $17 on a 2 piece fish w/ 3 shrimp, hush puppies and slaw. + an additional fry. (meal was $14 w/o extra fry) Staff was pretty nice, I can tell she's use to unruly customers by how she interacted with me. The restaurant was clean but I wasn't too impressed by the food. You have the option of light, heavy or medium seasoning. Shrimp was delicious, but the fish was thin, not fried enough and fries didn't look like the photos. It was $2 for the lil cup of jalapeño pickle mix, I have never seen a seafood spot charge for that lol. The meal wasn't seasoned well, I chose medium, overall, wasn't too filling either."

"The food was prepared fresh and packed with so much flavor. My granddaughter and I enjoyed it so much, I returned 4 days later. We ordered the fish strip combo w/fries and kool-aid. My second visit I ordered the whole catfish combo meal. Delicious, delicious, delicious! Customer service was excellent! Thank you for the hospitality during our vist. We will return real soon!!!"

"I had heard many great reviews and have passed this location several times, so we decided to give it a try! The service was great, and food was served fast. Well, we got home and took out the fish to see brown grease. It was so much that I had to dab my fish several times to get it out/off... and it tasted like grease. I asked for fried hard, but it wasn't...it was very mushy and had a strong fishy taste. My fries were not fresh at all. They were lukewarm, and my parents only lived 5 minutes from the location. Sadly, this was a one and done experience for me. In response to the owner: I thank the owner for replying, however, I did not purchase food on 4/14 or 4/15, this is just when I had time to review. I purchased food from here 4/1/23 with MY card in MY name above and my mother was with me. Those pictures are of your food I purchased on that date. Secondly, I was not going to call or repack our food to return it once I had arrived to my family's home, unless something was missing, and even then, I would have called to inform you, but not driven back. GREAT customer service is to ensure food is cooked satisfactorily at all times, meaning food is fresh, not oil soaked, and cooked to order. I am sure this was just a one-off experience I had. I applaud any business owner, as having a business is not for the faint of heart. Yes, reviews drive business and I give HONEST reviews to every restaurant establishment I patronize. Take the review as a note to ensure you are providing a topnotch food experience each and every time."
