"I wouldn’t say this is the best Mexican restaurant in San Antonio, but it’s probably on the top 3 in this area. Service is consistently good. Most plates are good, and portion size is adequate. Good variety of choices. I like coming here for the breakfast special which it’s very economical. Coffee is great and the waitresses are good at making sure your cup doesn’t go empty. Both their huevos rancheros and machacado tacos (or plate) are probably the best I’ve had in San Antonio. They also have lunch specials that change daily. Good mini tacos plate. I would not recommend the “Mexican” hamburger, I had it once in the past and it was very disappointing. I don’t like their menudo either, literally half of it is “maíz” (corn). Plenty of parking. If you’re in the area, give it a try."

"The service here is great we were quickly seen and our waitress was very attentive and constantly checked on us. The food was delicious and surprisingly cheap! To start the chips and salsa were fresh and the queso they give has a nice kick. We got the lunch specials that come with an entree choice and a drink, the asada on both of our meals was well cooked and fatty. Loved it would definitely recommend!"
