"Highly recommend! Was busy on a Wednesday night and I see why. Clean and nice restaurant, friendly folks work there. Fast seating, service, even dinner came out quickly. Large menu, and lots of items wanted to try. They start you with chips and salsa, but also some chicken salad. It was good! Chicken salad cooled off the salsa nicely. Good queso. We tried the parrillada for two, brought home half (it could have fed 4!). Very good. Great rice and beans. Good tortillas. Military discount available. Will definitely be back to try the molcajete!"
"We love the atmosphere! Beautiful, dark wood decor, good music, nice bar and friendly employees! The food selections were awesome and delicious. It's a rather small spot in a mini shopping area with limited parking. Lots of people in and out told us that this was the place to be. If you're in the area of San Antonio, make this place a destination."
"Nice little restaurant/bar. Only got a few drinks and a taco and drink to go. Staff was very professional and friendly. The customers all looked happy. I'll have to come back and try some of their main entrée. Update 29OCT23: stopped by for brunch with some friends from out of town. Small 5 minute wait. Food was good. I had the fish tacos. I'm used to the fish being battered and deep fried; but this was still good. I would order it again. Service was excellent and was very responsive to our requests. Thank you."
"I just come here because of my friends. I really don't like the food. Soo greasy you can't taste true flavor. I asked for gorditas. They were deep, deep fried. Seems like a fried gordita from the day before. I couldn't taste the corn masa it is supposed to taste like. I really don't know why fry everything. Gorditas can be just cooked on a comal, no need for deep drying. I didn't eat them, too much oil flavor. Beans the same. Im glad I asked for cabbage and tomato. I ended eating that. Not worth the price. I will give them a point for the rice(not greasy) and red salsa is good. No complains with service. Jorge was excellent."
"Expect to wait. Full stop. Great place to eat though. Most of the food is awesome. We've ate here several times and will continue to eat here. I brought a friend from El Paso who said it reminds him of home. My only complaints are that the fajitas could be better quality and look at your bill closely they charge a Food Tax, Beer Tax, and Liquor Tax on top of your bill. I mean a Food Tax??? Bottom line is we'll be back but just be aware of the additional charges."
