"I stopped in for lunch after a long hike at the lake trails. I came late afternoon, place only had few patrons. The concept is simple and has some good pops of visuals. I like the rattan lighting over the bar. The seating is a step up, comfortable and nice base of color. The back wall and bar is a nice balance. The menu is ample. They have small plates. Seafood, fajitas and traditional Mexican food options. I ordered the Mar y Tierra plate. Shrimp was a bit over cooked. Flavor was bland."

"What we ordered from the website is not what we got. I got all the way home and our tacos were just shells and meat and when I called I was told that only onion and cilantro comes on the street tacos however that’s not what it says when you order online. Still tried the tacos anyway and the meat was very dry. I spent $30 for the worst meal I’ve ever had ( no exaggeration)"

"Calling all seafood and Mexican food lovers! Barracruda, in Little Elm, is serving up some of the best and freshest Mexican seafood plus other favorites! They have an extensive menu so everyone will be happy! The drinks are so good and well made! We tried the Jalapeños a la Momia and these were excellent and what a fun presentation! GET THIS! The Torre de Mariscos had such fresh shrimp, octopus, ceviche scallops, cucumber and avocado! Wow! GET THIS The Fajitas Texanas were loaded with tender steak, chicken, and shrimp plus incredibly warm handmade tortillas! All the food and service was incredible! Everyone treats you like family and are some of the nicest people I have met! We had the best time and cannot wait to come back!"

"Greeted by a friendly face upon entering. Seated immediately. I asked the kind waitress for recommendations & she was very helpful with that. Food came out in a timely manner, was fresh & flavorful. I was pleased to know that they had horchata on the menu. It was very refreshing. They also serve fresh chips and salsa. Everything was good."
