"I went to this small roadside restaurant that's really popular, especially on weekends. It took me 40 minutes to get there, and after ordering, I had to wait another hour for the food. The place looks nice and has a good vibe, but the food was disappointing. I tried a few different dosas; the ghee karam dosa was just okay, but the babai dosa had way too much ghee, and after eating a bit, it made my stomach feel bad. The paneer dosa and idly were also too oily. Overall, it wasn't worth the long wait and hype. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback and improves."
"Southindian options are very good for the cost. Puri baji is okay. Puris were like thin paper and ouly. Onion pakoda is very oily(not so good).Chicken fried rice has hardly any chicken in it. Karam ghee idly has lot of ghee. Karam ghee dosa is good. Peanut Chutney is very nice. Punugulu was good this time compared to the last time i tried. Good place for summer nights. We came during winter they have multiple fire pits but cant stay out to eat food so we ate in car. Overall a good experience and decent place to hangout with friends."
"Ghee idly, Ghee Karam Dosa, punugulu tastes very good. Worth the long drive. There is lot of place to sit. Better than lot of places in Irving serving South Indian breakfast"
"I recently visited babai bandi food truck, and it was an absolute treat for my taste buds! The variety of idlies and Dasas offered were impressive, from crispy pungulu to flavorful chutneys. The authenticity of the flavors transported me back to the streets of my city. The staff was quick, and the ambiance added to the overall experience. A must-visit for anyone craving original flavours. Worth the hype!"
"The place is well maintained and well run. During rush hours I can see a huge backup. I think they will need a larger kitchen and they need to reduce the wait times. The expectation for a Bandi is fast service, but on certain items liked dosa or biryani the eta is over 30 minutes that makes it difficult for customers. We had punugulu pretty good, onion samosa decent, idly pretty good. I didn't think the place was cheap but it was also not very expensive."
