"Very nice store. Friendly staff. Just wished they had more dish SETS to choose from. Lots of loose dishes, but a set is what I was looking for. Was able to find everything else on my list easily."

"I had an unexpected experience at Big Lots a week in a half ago. Which is making me not want to come back to this specific store location. Because I’m very disappointed of how the Manager (Gabriel is his name I saw on his name tag) handles his job as management.. I don’t like how he talks to his coworkers, I witnessed that he’s very lazy and very unprofessional, and talks very rude to the cashier(s). I didn’t mean to overhear but I caught him being rude to a young lady cashier. Which I didn’t specifically get why he was being rude to her.. but what he said is what pissed me off, I didn’t like he yelled at a young woman! Nor like how he handles the managing position. I don’t know how he has the the job of working as a manager, if he doesn’t want to work as a manager and can’t handle the situation properly and professionally. I can’t understand why he needs to yell at them and be rude towards his coworkers. When simply, the cashiers are the ones working to getting customers to spend their money there (meaning the cashiers are the ones bringing in the money). This boy (I say boy because he doesn’t seem to know how to be a gentleman), needs to find another job because he shouldn’t be in the position that he is in right now if it’s such an issue being a manager for that position…"
"They didn't have the dresser I wanted but employee called a nearby store and found one for me. Excellent customer service. Store is messy and cramped. Prices fantastic."
"I went due to the fact that they had a special of cokes and they had ran out of. I live in between Weslaco's & Edinburgh's Big Lots so either or they had ran out of. I sure wish Alamo,Tx. had one as well... that way i don't have to travel far for nothing. Let's hope one opens up where I live soon."
