"If I could give 0 stars I would. First, they always take forever to respond. Then today the repair comes out and never even tests or does anything to my cook top but look at it and talked to my wife. He reports to the Home Warranty Company that because of a partially melted knob that happened almost 9 years ago that the reason the stove top stopped working was not because of normal wear and tear therefore the Warranty denied my claim. We are ta;lking about 1 knob that is barely melted. Not to mention the cook top is 17 years old or anything and has worked just fine with the burnt knob until 2 weeks ago. How can you obviuiosly give an opinion without even looking into it but instead just look at it. Anyone could be a repair man in that case if all you had to do was just look at the appliances. "MY experience with Sear has been HORRIBLE!!! I have been trying to get my ice machine fixed since April 2023, today is 11/17/23. I have had more than 4 technicians come to my house for a 5-minute visit every 2 weeks to tell me it needs a certain part. The part(s) are ordered and arrive. Two weeks later another tech shows up, replaces that part but does not fix the problem. Then another 2 weeks later we go through the same scenario. This goes on for about 4 months. The repair tech visits, He orders the part then 2 weeks later I get a tech who tells me the whole machine needs to be rehauled and orders $800+ worth of parts that are still sitting at my house. For 2 months we go back and forth, an appointment is made then the day of the appointment it gets cancelled because there's no technician available or it take 2 techs and only 1 is available. After 2 months I call AGAIN about my protection plan the day on the scheduled appointment. I spoke with Jissell, who said she was putting in a request for a replacement, gives me a case #7728551. She says I should hear from them via email in 24 hours. There should be a recording of my conversation with Jissell. Actually, there should be recordings of all the phone calls I've make. After 72 hours I call back and talk to a man who did not give me his name. He says my case was closed and they have no record of all these attempts to repair NOR is there a claim for a replacement. I just want to get my Applicance fixed. I PAID over $300. for a Master Protection Plan that states if they cannot fix it, I will receive a replacement. Now because they say there is no record of all my past attempts, I have to start over with the technician to repair the unit. At the beginning of every call with Searsl it states the call will be recorded. I suggest you look up the last 2 phone recordings firm 11/4/23, with Jissell. where she stated she she was putting in for a replacement claim #7728551. All the appliances in my house are from SEARS! All are covered with Master Protection Plans. If this is the kind of service, you get from these plans then I am done with SEARS and will purchase all future appliances through Lowes or Home Depot. At this point I want to speak to someone who will guarantee me that my machine will be completely repaired or replaced before the end of November. This is the sorriest service I have ever received from SEARS Master Protection Plan. I am not happy with the results and the way I've been treated when I call.
