"I'm not much of a breakfast eater. So, it took me longer to decide on what to order. Lauren helped and gave us good suggestions. The shrimp and grits good flavor. And, the brisket was cooked well with a great taste. Walking distance from our hotel so we couldn't best that. Drinks were tasty too!"

"Finally, I got to try this restaurant. It was a fantastic venture. My wife and I were greeted and seated right away. The menu has plenty of classic food options and some unique dishes that stick in your memory. We started with the fried chicken, candied bacon appetizer. The chicken was covered in pancake batter and the whole dish had synergy. One thing is their Spicy Syrup. I don't eat many spicy things but this was a flavor experience, like I've never had before. Very light in spice and still plenty sweet to pour all over my French toast. The server was attentive and offered refills before my glass was empty. Highly recommend for a date spot or just to enjoy an amazing Houston lunch."
