"My husband and I were headed to Fort Worth from Dallas for a couple of days & Le Margot was recommended to us by a friend! I am SO thankful for that recommendation because I have been on a hunt for a delicious quiche and I can now say I’ve found ~The Best Quiche Ever~!!! First though the restaurant is brimming full of personality and style. I loved the over the top floral displays, bright pink chandeliers, mixed use of textures and colors. It felt like a very eclectic combination of modern that married 20’s art deco style and pulled off the unique pairing so very well. The atmosphere was the perfect setting for our first brunch to start off a little mini vacation. One little hitch though was that they only had enough quiche for one order so my husband adjusted his order to a croquet madame and the chefs were kind enough to substitute the ham for spinach & mushrooms. The quiche itself had the most delicate crust, nice and flaky, it was cooked to perfection without being too soft or too dry and absolutely full of flavor! This was definitely a high end quiche for a special occasion and not something like from a local bakery, I can’t put my finger on it but it had a complexity I don’t normally find in most recipes. I was thankful to the manager for being apologetic about the lack of quiche & he checked in to make sure both our meals were to our satisfaction and the waitress was super attentive and friendly. Absolutely loved everything about this restaurant and I just wish there was one in Frisco!!"
"Great experience. We sat outside on the patio. There was French music playing at a perfect volume. A tv had an old movie that was black and white. No sound but an interesting visual. Now to the food. Everything we had tasted amazing. I added pictures of all the food we tried. We bought appetizers to share with one entree and a wonderful desert. I was full for sure. We stayed for 2 hours and 20 minutes enjoying every bit of time there. I highly recommend Le Margot."
"I found Le Margot after searching for romantic restaurants online. I checked the menu and price point and thought I had an understanding of what to expect. The food was good, and I was pleased with the menu selections, but it was not a romantic atmosphere. The music (pop music) was loud, causing the full house to have to talk over it. We couldn't hear each other very well. We had a reservation, so our table was ready when we arrived, but the kitchen was very backed up and so it took 40 minutes from the time we ordered until our entrees arrived. It might have been fine as I loved the company I was with, but we couldn't hear each other. Plus, we were seated right next to the wait stand that strangley enough is in the middle of the room, so we never felt alone at our table. Our server was very warm and kind. She tried hard but was definitely spread too thin. We never got the chance to tell her that the soup we ordered came out cold, literally cold. We don't send food back usually, but it was disappointing. At that price point ($100 per person), and the way they are advertised I expected more."
"Went with my wife when they had first opened. Everything was amazing. The food was so delicious and perfectly made. Drinks were perfectly mixed. The staff was very attentive without being overbearing. We even loved the decor. This was a great restaurant for a date night. We will definitely be going back."
"Fine French dining in a swanky modern atmosphere, plus 5 star service. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. From the oysters to the beef Wellington, we were happy with everything we tried (except maybe the fries were a little disappointing?). The French onion soup was especially good (best I've ever had) and I really enjoyed the roasted beet carpaccio. The cocktails were very good and they boast a great selection of wines. You almost miss this place from the outside sitting inconspicuously in a Tom Thumb strip center. The interior is nice and a bit eclectic with some really interesting artwork. Can't wait to try this place again!"
