"I recently visited the remodeled McDonald's on 802, and I must say, it looks fantastic! The new design and renovations have truly transformed the place. The first thing that struck me was how much better and new it appeared. The interior was immaculately clean and had a fresh, modern aesthetic that was very appealing. The new design also seemed to enhance the overall dining experience. Additionally, the cleanliness of the restaurant was impressive. It's always a good sign when you walk into an eatery, and it looks spotless. The staff seemed to be taking great care of the space, which is always reassuring as a customer. Overall, my visit to the remodeled McDonald's on 802 was a pleasant surprise. The improvements made a significant difference, making it so much more enjoyable to dine there. If you're in the area and craving some fast food, I highly recommend checking out this McDonald's location for a clean and pretty dining experience."

"Even though it is right next to the expressway, this McDonald's is in a very lovely location next to a resaca (the small lakes that were left behind - hundreds or even thousands of years ago, when the Rio Grande River would overflow its banks and change its course - for which Brownsville is famous). As I was getting a couple of things out of the car, my big beautiful very smart dog Magic jumped out of the car and playfully harassed the ducks that were hanging out on in the grass between the McDonald's and the resaca. He would never hurt them and did not even bark, but he likes to watch them all take off and fly into the lake. Even when Magic playfully chases ducks, they never seen genuinely afraid of him. When we took a break from the McDonald's and went back out by the resaca, those same ducks floated over close to him to check him out. I have seen ducks do that with him on bayous in Louisiana and now resacas in Brownsville. The story I make up is that they are saying to themselves "This being has quite a lovely vibration, who is he?" Similar to the outdoor setting, the inside of this restaurant was actually especially lovely for a McDonald's. It does have the ordering kiosk stations like many modern McDonald's, but does not feel as cold and sterile as some of them - which seem like they would be more appropriate in Manhattan than Texas. I especially enjoyed sitting at one of the three little stations against the wall that had short chairs and short tables. I don't know if they were designed for children or the little short Latino people who dominate this area (93% of Brownsvile's population).
