"Overcooked quiche, no dressing on the salad, you set the table, luke warm water out of the tap, no ice, serve yourself coffee. Good Gracious what happened to this place? What’s the tip for exactly?"

"It's always wonderful when I can get back to San Antonio because I get to come to Bakery Lorraine. Everything here is fantastic including the employees. All the menu offerings are delicious and the bakery cafe is a real treat. Their coffee is the second best I've ever had (first best is a little place I grew up near c;) and I have traveled all over the US and parts of Europe. The atmosphere is upbeat and relaxing just like the music that's playing. Doing homework or office work here is not a problem, the music is kept low enough that I don't find it distracting. Though this is a very popular cafe the mellows towards the end of the day so there's ample seating. Weekends are livelier and you may have trouble getting a seat for brunch. Even if you aren't going to adopt Bakery Lorraine as your home-cafe-away-from-home and even if you're a die hard Starbucks loyalist I do encourage you to come by and give it a try, you definitely will not regret it. This bakery cafe is the reason why I stay at hotels at The Rim."

"I hadn't done my research, so I was expecting a traditional American bakery. It was late afternoon, so the baked good options, besides the macaroons, were scarce. My niece loved her croissant and water. I couldn't find anything that interested me."

"Was able to stop here for a quick bite and I loved it. I got the veggie quiche with a side of potatoes. I had to add a pastry so I got the lemon blueberry scone. Everything was so good and I enjoyed every bite of it. I definitely recommend this place. I am from out of town so I will definitely be back when I visit again.
