Taqueria Jalisco 1305 East Main Street, Alice, TX 78332

"We decided to go here for lunch as we have driven by it numerous times and see that it's always packed. We are very glad we did! There is parking on both sides of the restaurant along with a drive thru for to go orders. The food was amazing and very flavorful. We had the mini tacos with beef and chicken fajita and the #5 pompano chicken breast. The tortillas that come with them seem to be house made and are fresh and soft. The meat in the mini tacos was not overcooked and had a lot of flavor to them. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. We had a margarita and it was very good as well. It didn't seem to be watered down like most places do. Staff was extremely friendly, helpful and very attentive. The only thing we didn't like was being charged for a to go box. That seemed to be a bit excessive. Overall, we would definitely recommend this place and will be coming back. A gem of a restaurant in Texas."

"I ordered the fajita tacos and they were super dry like they had been reheated definitely won't order that again my parents ordered carnegieza tacos they also said that their tacos tasted as though they were reheated the only place that I give this place was the window attendant was super nice and courteous and very polite although I might say that I went almost when closing time so I will more than likely give it another chance to prove me wrong..."

"The food and cocktails here are very good and very fun. The atmosphere so cozy and casual but you still feel like you are out and about. My only complaint is that the prices change here constantly and they nickel and dime you. They charge for the Styrofoam to-go plates! But it's nice for dinner and drinks in a small town. They remodeled it a few years ago so it's nice inside, the bar looks cool. The service isn't great for being a taqueria"

"Good olé' reliable Jalisco's. Good food at a great price. I really do not know how they can keep up these high standards and low prices in this economy, but I am not complaining. You just keep doing what you are doing Jalisco's, and you will always have me as a customer."
