"I’ve been to the Nacogdoches location a few times and it’s typically disappointing. They never have onion rings for one. They’re always out. Burgers are mediocre. We know the reputation of this place (went to high school with the owner) so we always go and give it one more try. Last night we went to this Hausman location and it was like a different restaurant altogether! Service was super friendly and polite. They had onion rings! The burgers were phenomenal. They had a nice crust on the outside and juicy on the inside. I do believe the Nac crew needs some attention and training."

"Super casual delish burgers & more pig out food! 5 star to onion rings. Super crispy, not battered & oh so sweet! Crispy tots & fries. Juicy burgers & great real cod fried fish. A place to go for chicken fried steak too. No matter what, enjoy decadence & forget diet. Have a Shiner Bock or great iced tea!"

"Flavor: A Service: A Tea: A Solo dining: A Longhorn Cafe is serving up a really good simple burger. The patty is thin, juicy, and flavorful. I love to have mine with their perfectly crispy tots and homemade ranch dressing. This location seems to have faster service which I appreciate. And the tea is fresh all the way til close. I’m definitely keeping this one in my regular rotation."

"Today I decided change things up and tried the Longhorn Cafe on Hausman Rd instead of the usual Blanco Rd location. I must say that I was quite impressed and will probably make the Hausman location my new favorite. The chicken fried steak was perfectly cooked to my liking. The meat was very tasty & tender, and even passed the cut with a fork test. Mashed potatoes were equally good and made from scratch. The restaurant itself was super clean and relaxing. Highly recommended!"

"I have visited Longhorn Café a couple times now, following recommendations from friends. Chicken sandwich is the best I have EVER tasted. I don't think I have ever had a chicken sandwich that just melted in my mouth. Fries are crispy and fresh with just the right amount of seasoning. Onion rings are like crack! It is something about that batter. Chicken tenders were so tender my little girl ate them all up with zero complaints and the mac n cheese... addictive! Second visit I ordered a grilled chicken salad. The portion was perfect and food fresh, chicken was perfectly grilled. They have quite a variety of dressings to offer to. Service was second to none, although I may criticize the eagerness to clear the table while still eating. Staff member who took my order was super friendly, and patient! I recommend visiting and checking out the food."
